"This was the first time I have ever applied for funding for a project and right from the get-go Metro Screen was supportive. They were happy for me to come in and familiarize myself with the equipment prior to the shoot and went out of their way when it came to making sure I got all the assistance I needed on the day. Metro Screen is an essential part of our film-making community and an irreplaceable asset to film-makers, regardless of whether we’re just starting out or are experienced practitioners. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity provided to me by Metro Screen and I look forward to working with them again in the future."

"There has been a fabulous unexpected response to the film which i never dreamt of. Thanks once again to Metro Screen for believing in my project and giving me that initial push through the Jump Start Grant. Unfortunately we have not received any success in any festivals in Australia so far but elsewhere it has been very encouraging and well received. Having said that, the only bonus was being in the running for the final selection of IF Film Awards (as Independent Spirit Award nominee). We did not make it but it was nevertheless very inspiring."
Vijay Mirchandani 'Where The Streets Have No Name'.

"The Jump Start assistance was a positive first step for my project Tiger Tiger and gave me the confirmation I was on the right track, this support meant a lot to me. Working with Metro Screen has been a positive and supportive step in keeping this project alive and headed in the right direction to become completed feature length drama."
Gillian Roberts as at 2010 in development of 'Tiger Tiger' her full length feature drama.
