Annmaree Bell set up her own production company, Azure productions. With a large repertoire of short films they are in pre production on their first feature film. "This course allowed me to start Azure," says Annmaree.

Nat Amoore’s short film Elemenopee was selected for Palm Springs and was in Tropfest’s Best of the Rest for 2005. "You don’t feel like your studying something from afar. You feel right in the middle of it. With people in the industry teaching you and real productions happening around you," said Nat.

Ali Russell is working as writer, researcher and assistant editor on a documentary shooting in Bali about Balinese performing arts. "This intensive course gave me the confidence to develop my ideas, and understanding of how to hone them," said Ali.

"Our 2006 students had huge amounts of energy and enthusiasm, and their graduation films show their wide range of interests. They range from comedy to drama and documentary in settings as far removed as Antarctica and Sydney's Oxford St."
