David Michôd’s debut feature about a Melbourne family of criminals won the World Cinema Jury Prize at Sundance 2010.

'Animal Kingdom' has been well received since it premiered January 22. Metro Screen board member and 'Animal Kingdom' producer Liz Watts said both audiences and buyers “have loved the film”.

Madman Entertainment will release the film in Australia on May 6.
